Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Highways Project - Claim Experience Required

One of Europe’s Biggest Civil Engineering Contracting companies is looking to recruit a Western Educated Senior Quantity Surveyor educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying. This individual will have major motorway / highways experience for some of Europe’s top tier civil engineering contractors. Reporting into a British Risk & Cost Manager on site you will be responsible for draft EOT’s, Financial Claims, variations under the FIDIC Contract.

This individual will be a commercially sharp, astute & aware of how to manipulate a contract and gain power for the main contractor. You will have experience of dealing with clients & consulting engineers.

You will be able to manage 1-2 Cost Engineers if needed. Your primary focus will be to coordinate and create everything needed for such a claim. Your CV & project history will clearly show experience in Motorways, Highways & Civil Engineering Infrastructure.

Valued at over 800 Million Sterling with over 36 Months to run this project will be a great step into the overseas market for someone motivated, career focused and that wants to progress among-st one of Europe’s most prestigious Contractors.

Requirements

You will have a charming manner and will be able to win over a client and motivate your team. Communication and knowledge is key for this role. Our client doesn’t want someone that doesn’t feel comfortable presenting in front of a client when needed.

Our client wants the following:
- Degree Educated to BSc Quantity Surveying
- Major Motorway experience
- MRICS & Claims experience
