Job description / Role
Our client is responsible for the turnkey construction of a fully automated driverless metro system in Doha.
As Consortium leader for the delivery of Doha Metro System, they are looking for qualified candidates for the role of Senior Safety Engineer.
As a Senior Safety Engineer, you are expected to provide expertise in safety activities from design stage until revenue service through, but not limited to, review of Design, Test Plans and Acceptance Criteria and report findings for Construction and Fabrication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in related specialties
- Rail experience
- Candidate must also have experience in Systems Safety and Certification including developing certifiable elements and items lists, generation and resolution of Design and Specification Checklists, Systems Integration and Pre-Revenue Testing, Preparation of Final Safety, Verification Report, Prepare Design Criteria, Specifications, Plans, Programs, and Procedures, and Provide Support for Construction and Fabrication
- Ability to conduct and review Safety Analysis and assessments
- Good understanding of RAM principles and link to maintenance
- Good understanding of EMC and Fire & Life safety fields and hazards management is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal skills
