Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Report to the Resident Engineer - Drainage and will be assisted by the highways inspectors and land surveyors.
- Assist in checking the contractor’s submissions and shop drawings.
- Assist in responding to the contractor’s requests for information.
- Liaise with the inspectors, surveyors and materials inspectors with regard to the timely processing of the requests for inspection (RFI) to ensure there are no undue delays.
- Liaise with the Resident Engineer - Utilities to ensure that there are no programming conflicts with utility diversions
- Assist the Planning Engineer to prepare the monthly status reports

The Senior Site Engineer - Drainage will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Atkins reputation with our clients and developing effective long term client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.

Requirements

The Senior Site Engineer - Drainage will be a qualified professional who must have a minimum qualification BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent, have Chartered status and more than ten years experience with five being similar to this project/role, regional experience is preferred.
