Senior Transportation Planner / Modeller

Job description / Role

My client is a leading western engineering and design consultancy and they are currently seeking a Transportation Planner to join the team in Qatar and work on huge infrastructure master plan for Qatar.

You will be responsible for Strategic Modelling (transportation, public transport, parking, freight, pedestrian and cycling), reviewing the limitation of analysis and validation method adopted for the study and identifying the mitigation plan. You will conduct data analysis for the completed survey work and offer guidance on analysis, testing and forecasting mechanism. The successful candidate will help in the statistical analysis for the projects and liaise with clients to report progress; coordinate technical details with other projects’ consultants.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at least 10 years’ experience in transport planning and/or modelling.
