Job description / Role
- He should be responsible for all preventative maintenance and repair work on elevators.
- Test newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specifications, such as basic flow requirements, TUV testing requirements, etc.
- Locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and signal and control systems, using test equipment.
- Check that safety regulations and building codes are met.
- Adjust safety controls, counterweights, door mechanisms, and components such as valves, ratchets, seals, and brake linings.
- Ability to understand and easily adapt to new technologies.
Requirements
- Should have at least 4 years of experience
- Hold a Diploma/ B-Tech in the same field.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance skill
- Decision making and problem solving skill
- Ability to speak english
- Coordination
- Trouble shooting
