Site Architect

Job description / Role

- Reporting to the Resident Engineer.
- Reviewing architectural shop and As-built drawings submitted by the Contractor in against the original design drawings, specification, bill of quantities and Qatar Construction Standard (QCS).
- Produce revised architectural drawing through Auto-Cad and submit to Project Director for review and approval.
- Coordinate with other discipline regarding the project development such as revision in the design or changes on actual site condition and consult Project Director for review and approval.
- Attend coordination meetings with the Contractor regarding the issues that affect the architectural design.
- Attend architectural site inspections together with the Contractor’s representative site engineer, check the work done and materials in accordance to the approved vendor’s list, shop drawing, method statement, specification and Qatar Construction Standard.
- Issue site memo’s and site instructions to the contractor to follow. - Responding to the contractor’s queries and all RFIs.
- Answering queries from the contractor with regards to design and consult with other disciplines and with the Project Director.

Requirements

- Relevant technical qualification
- MMUP registered
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in similar projects
- Minimum 2 year experience in the in the Middle East
