Social Media Specialist - Qatar

A group holding company based in Qatar is seeking a Social Media Specialist to head up and grow the Social Media team. This individual will be fully responsible for maintaining and continually updating the group's digital presence across all social media channels. This person should be up to date with the latest Social Media and online trends.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing and growing the company's digital presence in the Middle East.
* Developing and implementing the clients social media strategy, in line with both global and local objectives
* Create content in line with strategy to ensure engagement on social platforms
* Participate in Content planning & Project management: organise and set up social media campaigns and contests, increasing brand awareness, brand preference and engagement
* Reporting on performance based on agreed KPIs

Requirements

* Degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations or related fields
* 8-10 years experience in marketing.
* 2-3 years specialising in social media in the last few years of their career.
* Fluent in Arabic.
* Marketing experience in the retail industry is a plus but not essential.
