Employment: Full Time

The newest branch of Qatar's leading center for the Special Needs population, QISH, is seeking both Arabic and English speaking Speech Therapists to join a multidisciplinary therapy team.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Participating in multidisciplinary service delivery
- Performing individual therapy sessions
- Group therapy sessions
- Completing documentation
- Performing standardized assessments
- Providing parent and family counselling and participating in community outreach events

Desired start date: January- February 2016

Requirements

We are looking for enthusiastic team oriented therapists who have a minimum education level of a Bachelors degree, who have had experience working with children with special needs; and diagnoses such as ASD, Down Syndrome, C.P and Intellectual Disabilities.

Candidates must satisfy Qatar's regulations for obtaining a Medical License from the Supreme Council of Health and will be part of an exciting new beginning for the QISH family of centers.

About the Company

The Qatar Institute for Speech and Hearing - Al Wakrah, is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation center providing Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Special Education services to children (0-18)

The facility opened in 2017, and is the latest addition to the QISH family of centers licensed by the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar. We conduct assessments and provide intervention services by licensed practitioners in both individual and group settings, and follow a Family-Based and Child-Based model of service.
