Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with one of our leading Financial Services client’s who are looking to hire a Statistical Analyst to join their expanding strategy and business development team.
As a Statistical Analyst, you will report to the Statistical Specialist, you will compile, compute and analyse data to assist the Statistical Specialist in generating relevant information needed to achieve the study objectives set out. Thereby enhance the process of informative decision-making. You will be responsible for providing analytical consulting and statistical expertise to the internal team members whilst assisting the Statistical Specialist in research and developing ad-hoc requests. You should be able to perform data management, prepare statistical tables, interpret findings as well as provide recommendations besides continuous identification of new opportunities and improvement of existing systems.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s Degree in statistics from a reputable college with at least 3 years’ previous experience in performing research analysis and data collection within a banking set up. You should be able to breakdown complex challenges into smaller manageable strategic initiatives which can be prioritized for strategic growth and business optimisation. Candidates should demonstrate excellent computer skills, knowledge of research and statistical tools to find and collect data, create reports, and possess exceptional communication skills. Arabic speakers and immediate joiners would be preferred.
