Job description / Role
• Work with the management team to setup and review logistic strategic (Logistics Plan) objectives and targets
• Establish, implement and follow logistics procedures in line with organizational requirements
• Inventory Control and Material Management
• Conduct end-to-end process of Technical Material Submittals
• Drive improvements to the Materials processes using lean methodology
• Personnel management, Training and Leadership Development
• Train staff members and conduct quarterly performance reviews
• Create a friendly collaborative working environment to motivate employee and enhance their morale
• Encourage sharing of knowledge across all levels
• Conduct biannual vendor assessment
Requirements
• Bachelor in commerce / Marketing
• Financial understanding of budgets, cost control and financial levers
• Ensuring the timely delivery of projects
• Maximize margins through effective management of labour, materials and any other overheads
• Inventory, warehouse, material management including minimization of surplus materials
• Comprehensive understanding of complex systems of inventories, deliveries and costs
• Personnel management — manage, recognize and reward talented staff
• Vast experience of managing construction sub-contractors
• Produce accurate reports for senior managers on any losses and gains
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant Health & Safety laws relating to working environment
• Designing Database and Reports format according to field requirement
