Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading Islamic bank in the GCC, has the following career opportunities due to the current strategic expansion of their business in Qatar. The bank's total financing portfolio grew rapidly in the third quarter of 2014 reflecting a high growth rate. Support Policies & Procedures process throw developing the bank policies & procedures documents which considered to be one of the most important documents and considered to be the essential base for all banking & non-banking operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participating in Developing the Bank Policies in different areas and scopes in coordination with business units.
- Participating in the development/update/refinement of all operational procedures for bank products/services in conjunction with departments’ heads, control functions departments.
- Support the development/update/refinement of the all bank departments/units internal workflows to achieve smooth internal units to units’ workflows.
- Participating in Analyzing the current processes and studying them to restructure operations in order to achieve the best possible exercise of the process or to reduce cost or to meet the work requirements or regulatory authorities.
- Participating in Analyzing and evaluating the instructions of the Supervisory Entity (Central Bank) to determine the requirements and work plan for the implementations.
- Participating in Studding the implications of implementing a new system on the operational procedures, which requires updating these procedures.
- Preparation and dissemination of operational instructions with regards to launching a new product, or a new system, or a new executive operations.
- Developing the operations forms in a modern, efficient way and consolidate it to reflect the identity of the bank.
- Archive policies and procedures, circulars, forms documents electronically and update them in coordination with the relevant business units.

Annual targets are determined for the employee with relative specified weight and (KPI) for each one, these targets must be achieved collectively, and According to the employee's performance the decision-making regarding the promotion and / or determining the value of performance bonus or financial incentive and / or salary adjustment in accordance with the principles and mechanisms adopted by Board of Directors.

These targets include the following:
- Financial targets which are associated with the annual budget plus some associated indicators and ratios.
- Non-financial performance indicators which include technical, administrative, operational and soft skills specified for each managerial and operational staff level.

Requirements

- Post graduate degree preferable in Banking Science, Business Administration or equivalent.
- 3 years in banking.
- 2-3 years of experience in banks Policies & Procedures.
- knowledge of banking operations, products , central banks regulations.
- Analytical skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Planning / Organizing skills.
- English and Arabic fluent reading, writing and speaking.
- Must be excellent in MS Office (Excel, Access, word, Ms. Project, Visio, Outlook).
