Job description / Role
Principal Accountabilities:
- Processes all incoming issue requests for War Reserve Materiel (WRM) repair parts and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) kit items.
- Researches the Federal Logistics system and technical manuals to identify requested items to a National Stock Numbers (NSN). Maintains a control register for locally assigned NSN's.
- Ensures a current file of DD Forms 1348-6 for all active Non - NSN item records is established and maintained.
- Initiates and processes inputs to load new item records in the Enterprise Solutions-System (ES-S).
- Researches reject management notices to determine the cause. Re-processes the input or provides management justification for clearing rejects. Maintains required computer generated managemen reports and listings.
- Initiates reverse post (RVP) requests, re-inputs data following RVP actions, and maintains RVP request files.
- Provides information to the Shaw Stock Control Element for procurement of items.
- Conducts inventories. Researches inventory discrepancies and reconciles accountable records.
- Maintains file to support inventory adjustments. Updates ES-S and Maximo.
- Operates the Automated Document Control system to maintain document control and support files for documentation when tasked.
- Initiates and processes turn-in requests for expendable and equipment items.
- Develops lists of Mobility Readiness Spares Packages (MRSP) with shortages for processing issue files. Reviews mobility tasking, and coordinates with supporting storage sites to determine assets to be deployed. Updates detail records' listings or expenses assets. Processes transactions to ensure asset accountability is maintained.
- Ensures inputs are processed for all items shipped to the Defence Logistics Agency- Disposal Service (DLA-DS) when tasked.
- Processes unserviceable/unneeded assets to DLA-DS, and maintain master copy of custody receipt listings when tasked.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.
- Must have working knowledge in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
- Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
- May be required to operate material handling equipment.
Experience & Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One year experience in a supply system or a closely related function required.
- Maximo experience preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
- Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
- Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
