System Architect - Urgent - Doha, Qatar - 1 Year Contract
Halian International, a global IT services business, is currently seeking a Broadcast Systems Architect with a comprehensive working knowledge in the broadcasting industry. Based out of Doha, Qatar, this will be a fixed term one year contract working for one of the world’s leading entertainment corporations on a pioneering project in the Middle East. There will be a small amount of travel with this role, occasionally to Dubai for performance reviews and meetings.
As Broadcast Systems Architect, you will be working with our client and will be responsible for the overall design of high quality Broadcast and file based systems, whilst working closely with design teams under different workstreams. As Broadcast Systems Architect you will follow process driven methodologies and it will be your responsibility to assess and control the work designs that come from the PMO & QA/QC teams. You will also need to ensure that you are driving the final bill of materials whilst working with the relevant financial and design teams.
Requirements
To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, we are seeking a Broadcast Systems Architect who has a minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a specialist technical broadcast role.
To qualify for the 1st stage of interview, you must possess the following skills and experience;
- Strong knowledge in broadcast technologies with experience in rolling out solutions for multiple studios and playout systems.
- A proven track record of delivering projects/programmes in excess of $50 million.
- Experienced in News, Automation, MAM, digital archive and various file based solutions.
- Good technical writing skills on technology driven solutions.
- Ability to generate accurate project documentation including technical drawings and documents to substantiate the changes.
- Project change control, documentation process, management of risk and issues
