Systems Controller (Dynamics AX) - Qatar Airways - Doha

In this role, you will play a key functional role in providing technical support and enhancements to Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. The job should primarily cover Finance, Supply chain/Purchasing, Inventory areas of AX. You must have a strong track record in the implementation of Dynamics AX - Axapta solutions with full life cycle skills from discovery, requirements gathering, training, implementation and support, at large sites.

You will be assisting the Project Manager for managing and successfully delivering IT projects. You should be able to analyze user requirements and define solutions including documentation. You will be accountable for the end to end implementation of assigned Projects and Enhancements from requirement gathering till closure.

You must manage your team, aligning resources as per plan and co-ordinate with onsite/offshore team to ensure timely delivery. You must ensure proactive health checks of Dynamics AX applications. You will also be responsible for overall application support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree or Honors in Engineering/Computer Science/ Mathematics/Sciences/Commerce. You must have minimum 5-8 years of experience on Dynamics AX solutions and minimum 4-5 years of experience as a functional consultant. You must have a very good understanding of the retail business, with exceptionally strong background on Finance & Inventory areas.

You should have good Techno functional knowledge of custom modules development/delivery. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and proven team player. Candidates with experience the aviation Industry with good exposure to retail process and systems are highly preferred for this role.
