Systems Engineer (Oracle ERP DBA) - Qatar Airways - Doha

Responsible for maintenance and support of Oracle ERP instances and provide the defined availability for all hosted products and database infrastructure based on criticality of the Business application. This includes timely upgrades , regular patching activities, Pro-active and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, database security, troubleshooting and resolution of issues that includes liaising with database vendors.

Requirements

To be successful in the role you must hold a Bachelor's/Master’s degree or equivalent. You must have minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as Oracle apps database administrator. Maintain the availability of ERP instances based on defined Tier/SLA. Maintain the database security and prevent unauthorized access to the databases in compliance with IT security policy. Undertaking installations, upgrades, migrations and patch management of Oracle E-Business Suite environments (Database & Application Server).

Administration of System Management procedures and standards Usage of E-Business suite utilities like rapid clone, adclone, adadmin, adctrl, opatch, autoconfig, OUI. Hands on experience on Oracle EBS R12 Technology and Deployment. Fair knowledge on Oracle RAC, hardware load balancing, multi-node setup for ERP application with good hands on with ERP cloning. Should have a good knowledge on 12.2 technology stack including Fusion Middleware and WebLogic. Database Administration Oracle/Open Source, Oracle RAC, ASM, Disaster Recovery using Data Guard on Linux highly desirable, Oracle Application Server 10 iAS and Storage technologies.
