Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a large, well-known Contractor with over 40 year’s presence within the Middle East. The business is currently looking to bring in a senior member of staff who can head up and lead a team of 10, within the Proposal / Estimation / Tendering Department.
Our Client has an excellent reputation within the construction industry, particularly within civil / infrastructure projects; to include roads, bridges, airports and rail projects. Their aim is to continue their work in this field and the successful candidate, along with their team, will be responsible for assessing / pricing future business opportunities in these arenas; ensuring they are viable and profitable ventures for the business.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a relevant education / qualification to Degree level as well as substantial experience (at least 8 years) in the field. Prior experience within Qatar (at least 5 years) is essential as is a strong background in leadership and management capacities. Our client has stated a preference for a bilingual Arabic / English candidate.
