Timekeeper

Job description / Role

Provide critical support in monitoring and tracking of all BCT Manpower / labors for coordination and recording of attendances, absences, leaves, overtimes, holiday, overtime including productivity output as provided by the labor groups’ Charge hands or Gang Leaders:

- Monitor and record the manpower trade details for the BCT project/s which are currently assigned to him.
- Prepare, review, monitor and record the required labors needed to be transferred to and from the site assigned.
- Coordinate with other Departments or Sections within the project for labor relevant information and procedures.
- Perform Timekeeping duties for the site labors by the use of Personal Digital Attendance (PDA).
- Deal with the daily issues of labor attendance and resolve immediately within the day to avoid further problems.
- Assist in the calculation of direct labors man-hours or man-days in weekly or monthly average per trade as needed for a particular period in order to calculate actual productivity performance.
- Provide labor resource list for the process of grade leveling, evaluation, classification and training purposes within site.

Requirements

- High School Diploma
- Minimum one (1) year experience in the construction industry in a GCC country

Skills:
- Knowledge in Project construction timekeeping works.
- Knowledge in project administration and report preparation.
- Knowledge in Company policies and procedures on timesheets and payroll preparation.
- Knowledge in computer MS applications such as Excel and Word Applications
