Job description / Role
WRS are working with an International Contractor who are currently working on brand new road project in Qatar. They are looking to appoint a Traffic Engineer to provide a courteous and expeditious service as well as performing professional and technical tasks.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that highly encourages development in their Engineers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing the traffic and signal timing system coordination plans, coordinating the installations, repairing and maintaining the signing.
- Interacting with the public and other organisations to investigate and resolve various traffic issues
- Co-ordinating and directing the work of outside professional engineering consultants on the project
- Participating in planning and directing traffic engineering and transportation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor`s Degree in Civil or Transport Engineering or equivalent
- Approved by local authorities to verify and approve Traffic Management Plans
- Valid driving licence
- Minimum of 5 years traffic or transportation engineering experience
- Experience on infrastructure or roads projects
- Experience in auditing traffic management and traffic plans
- An energetic and positive personality
