Job description / Role
Guildhall is working on an assignment to assist a Global Contractor in identifying a Traffic Manager for a Mega Infrastructure Project in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidates should be experienced in the design of temporary traffic management on highways. Particular experience of working to Work Zone Traffic Management guide (Qatar, Ashghal) is essential.
- Should be capable of designing temporary schemes including diversions and contra-flow and able to assist with preparation of drawings and method statements for submission and agreement with Public Works Authority (PWA/Ashghal) Supervising Consultants and Police.
- Have hands on experience of managing operatives in setting out and implementation of the measures including setting up and taking down temporary traffic systems and be able to manage the recovery of any crashed and broken down vehicles.
- Minimum 3 years hands on Temporary Traffic Management experience- Design, implementation & Maintenance in GCC
Requirements

- Degree Qualified
- 5 to 10 years of Post Graduate Experience.
- Must have Traffic Management/ Traffic Diversion plans on infrastructure projects
- Previous experience of working in Qatar
Nice to have but not Mandatory:
- Arabic speaker
- Experience on UK Traffic Systems
- Notice period – less than a month
