Traffic Police Specialist

Job description / Role

The successful candidate will demonstrate diverse skills in various areas of traffic policing including: The ability to solve complex problems using technical knowledge in dealing with methods of general and specialized traffic police, assignment of daily traffic police, handling different situations and optimize the use of resources. The client is a well known government entity in Doha.

Requirements

* Degree qualified from an accredited police body or relevant work experience in combination with a Brigadier or equivalent rank may be accepted in lieu of a Doctorate degree.
* Relevant work experience in combination with an Inspector (European System) or equivalent rank may be accepted in lieu of a Master degree.
* University degrees such as PhD, and Bachelor will be considered as additional advantage
* 20 years of post graduate experience, including field, administration, and training experience, and upgrading for senior ranks
* Awareness of principles of traffic issues, roads, urbanization, road safety, and information systems.
* Experience in implementing successful training schemes
* Understanding of client needs and winning support.
* Leadership in management of road policing department, and appreciation of traffic enforcement requirements.
* Previous Middle East experience
* Previous experience working for a government organisation
