Employment: Full Time

Training Officer - F & B - Qatar Duty Free Company, Doha

As a training officer you will be responsible for the creation, implementation and ongoing training programmes & requirements of the Qatar Duty Free Food & Beverage Department, which will encompass all F & B activity at all levels, HACCP - Food Hygiene and handling practices, food preparation & service & customer service. The incumbent ensures that people are equipped with the required behavioral knowledge and skills to support the business in achieving its objectives.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong leader as well as have very good presentation skills. Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ of job related experience with international hotels, restaurants, airports or international master franchises within a multimillion dollar turnover environment. Experience in hotel / catering / retail industry is a strong advantage A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospatility /HR or a CIPD will be an advantage.

Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow, Strong mentoring and coaching skills, Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills, Ability to foster teamwork among team members, Well developed interpersonal skills, Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sound knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint Preferred, Experience in training in a multi-cultural environment and good understanding of equal employment opportunity of custom and practices.
