Training Specialist - Food and Beverage - Qatar Duty Free - Doha

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of the Training & Development (T&D) team within Qatar Duty Free at our beautiful new airport. As the Training Specialist you will support the T&D Manager with the implementation of training strategy and the training operational plan for Food and Beverage. You will also be responsible for managing a number of high profile projects whilst developing and facilitating training which will cover a wide range of technical and non-technical programmes. You will ensure that people are equipped with the required behavioural knowledge and skills to support QDF in achieving its objectives.

You will be expected to be 1st point of contact in projects, meetings and as when required in absence of the training manager. You will be challenged to facilitate training programs to a high standard, using adult learning and learner focused techniques. You will utilize your superior interpersonal skills to create solid professional relationships with stakeholders, customers and QDF management at all levels within the business.

It will also be your job to design and develop training and development programs based on both the organization’s and the individual's needs.

Requirements

You will hold a Diploma, Associate Degree or equivalent. Your excellent communication, Leadership skills as well as exceptional presentation skills will allow you to excel in this role. You should have a minimum of 7 years of training experience in a F&B/Hospitality industry.

A strong coaching, training and facilitation background will be necessary to be successful; with excellent knowledge of learning and evaluation theories, techniques and design solutions. Advanced MS Office skills will be required. To be successful you must also be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment, high pressure, time sensitive environment.
