Employment: Full Time

The Treasury Finance Manager will support the Treasury and ALM business with effective business partnering providing comprehensive financial and performance analysis. Improve the effectiveness of Finance support to the business and the efficiency of Finance production processes

The Treasury Finance Manager in Qatar will be responsible for the following:
* Provide comprehensive financial analysis for decision making for the Treasury Asset and Liability Management Business (ALM).
* Working with Treasury management to help communicate and execute organisation growth plans.
* Work with IT and Treasury to develop a daily KPI reporting dash board.
* Work with Operations, IT and Treasury the introduction of new treasury products to the bank, including derivatives.
* Oversee the development of the front office and bank office reconciliation process relating to treasury products/business.
* Cultivating stakeholder relationships both internal and external.
* Become finance subject matter expert on Funds Transfer Pricing, including understanding the underlying behavioural assumptions that under product FTP rates.
* Drive understanding and adoption of FTP in management reporting and analysis; improve analytics supporting margin management.
* Ensure data feeds into the ALM systems are fully reconciled with the core banking system.
* Review Hedge Accounting relationships on monthly basis and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards, including working with the business and risk to ensure correct documentation and effectiveness testing are being conducted.
* Establish understanding of business requirements and coordinate delivery of product and service by finance team.
* Work with IT to project manage MI enhancements and improvements to management reporting streams to meet business demands.
* Where applicable project manage the automation of management reporting.
* Utilise project management skills to support non-technology, strategic projects if required.

Requirements

* Financial professional/technical - excellent understanding of principles of financial control and audit for technology application and financial control production processes and the practical application of these principles. Good understanding of IFRS accounting standards particularly relating to derivatives and basic derivative valuation principles.
* Qualified accountant
* 5 to 8yrs experience
* Prior banking experience preferably within treasury finance
* Some prior project management experience knowledge
* Sound knowledge of IFRS accounting
* Good understanding of derivatives accounting and derivatives valuation principles.
