TS Controller (Network Security) - Hamad International Airport - Doha

Hamad International Airport is seeking to hire a Specialist with expertise in Network Security. You will be responsible for supporting the 24/7 IT Network and Security operations. You must support the operational activities maintaining uptime of the Enterprise network and security equipments e.g. Routers, Firewalls, Intrusion Protection System and Content filtering devices at the Airport. You will carry out Network Security Management tasks and other proactive steps ensuring the multiple services offered across the network infrastructure are secure, reliable and uninterrupted. You will manage and provide support for activities involving the Network security architecture, design related requirements, project Management and technical support.

Your key responsibilities include attending to incidents and problems as well as performing system administrative activities. Repair, error correction, troubleshoot, provide resolution and root cause analysis for high priority and severity incidents. Planning, defining and maintaining the highest standards for security in a large enterprise environment. You must plan changes, perform impact assessment, implement changes and perform pre and post implementation change reviews.

You will be responsible for capacity, utilization and make recommendations for upgrades, scale up, scale outs etc. You will also support procurement teams in evaluating technical proposals. The role also requires excellent documentation skills

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a Graduate in Computer Science / Engineering / Diploma or equivalent. You must have at least 8 years of job related experience in managing enterprise network security equipment eg. Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention System, and content filtering devices.

You must have an in depth knowledge of Cisco Firewalls and Juniper/Checkpoint firewalls or similar. CCNP Security and any web filter certification is preferred. The candidate must have good written and spoken business English.
