TS Lead Engineer (Data Centre & Server) - Hamad International Airport - Doha

In this role you will be part of a team engaged in Data center, server management. This job profile mandates shift duty 24X7 on rotation basis. You would be responsible for Install, Upgrade, Monitor and Support Servers, Storage and backup Devices. You must identify and fix security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and propose new technology initiatives. You will develop, design and implement test environment, enterprise anti-virus systems.

You will lead a team of service support engineers covering Datacenters, servers, Storage, Backup. Key accountabilities include administration of VMware; HyperV; Citrix; Windows Servers; Red Hat Enterprise Linux, HP UNIX. You must ensure high availability and clustering of hardware, Microsoft Core technologies such as Active Directory/Group Policy; Exchange; Office Communicator.

You must have experience with SAN/NAS and other network connected storage technologies EMC/IBM/HP. You will install/upgrade &manage anti-virus products ad patch management pro-actively to safeguard the company data from possible virus threats and vulnerabilities. You must manage procurement, registering, tracking and maintenance of assets fulfilling full life cycle management. For system failures, you must provide technical support for all IT Infrastructure and other products ensuring reduced down time to the business.

You must ensure Process and Procedures are followed as per ITIL standards. You will develop and maintain procedures, processes and knowledge base, for supporting issue resolution. You must ensure system stability resulting in accurate, timely and efficient solutions as per SLA. You are responsible for co-ordination with Vendors & External Support Agencies, Publishing daily, weekly & monthly reports. You must ensure mentoring and training support staff, supervising the team activities and update their performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer / Engineering / Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of job-related experience required. Certifications like MCSE, CCNA & ITIL V3 Certification is preferred.

You must have good communication and reporting skills along with a good knowledge of Intel Servers (HP, IBM), OS (Linux & Windows) Administration, Symantec /MacAfee AV, SCCM. You must have good knowledge of Virtualization and Clustering along with work experience in 24x365 Large Enterprise environment and Data Centre Operations.
