Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Administer the operation of Warehouse/ Project stores and all facets including ordering, receiving, processing, recording and distributing supplies and materials; preparing and maintaining detailed records and files.

Monitor and supervise the Project storekeepers and support the project by proper material traceability as per:
- Organize and directs daily inventory operations and ensures that they are in compliance with approved policies and procedures.
- Plan and maintain the optimum utilization and upkeep of warehouse storage facilities.
- Ensure all administrative tasks concerned with the running of the stores are carried out in an effective and timely manner and all reports are provided to management.
- Maintain store security systems, ensuring staff codes, after hours contact numbers, key-holder, alarm register and user code register are kept secure and up to date.
- Plan and control the development, integrity and maintenance of the Company’s integrated inventory management system data base to ensure its accuracy, standardization and completeness.
- Provide logistic support for projects in terms of materials in the warehouse an maintain the frequently required items available all the time.
- Coordinate and supervise all projects storekeepers to insure complying with Warehouse procedures.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferably with specialization in supply chain management or operations management.
* Minimum Ten (10) years of Warehouse/Store Management experience in construction industry, six (6) years of which should be in the GCC.

Knowledge and Skills:
* Good knowledge of supply chain functions such as planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation
* Advanced knowledge of warehouse procedures including stacking and sorting.
* Planning and organizing skills

* Demonstrate sound work ethics
