Works Inspectors - Water Experience

Job description / Role

In Norconsulting we are currently looking for several Works Inspectors with water projects experience to work for one of our most important client (major consultant) in a Mega Reservoir project in Qatar

For this position, the maximum budget is 11k QAR per month, all inclusive.

The main duties of the Works Inspector include, but are not limited to:
- Inspect delivered materials for compliance with specification, storage in accordance with the requirements and provide approvals
- Maintain daily diary of construction activities and any unusual occurrence
- Record progress of completed works for inclusion in monthly reports
- Ensure that inspections are carried out in a timely manner and appropriate records are filed and maintained
- Be aware of project progress and be prepared to discuss technical aspects of your role with the client if required
- Be proactive to assist project progress

Requirements

- Degree or Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognised education institution.
- Minimum of eight (8) years postgraduate experience
- Minimum of three (5) years’ experience in the construction of major projects
- Experience in supervising pipeline installation / reinforced concrete / structural steel / pumping stations / drainage / water supply schemes / electrical installations
- Experience in sampling and testing of construction materials
