Eaton SAKS International have been retained via a leading family owned group to find a seasoned Arab Country Head of HR to join the team on the ground in Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia and Our Client are going through a period of rapid change and growth. As Country Head of HR you will lead the organization through the changing employment landscape and position the people agenda in order to capitalize on the growth opportunities.

Our Client has a substantial foot print in the GCC with the Kingdom quickly becoming the largest market in our portfolio at almost 100 retail stores. The company has healthy respect for HR and what it can deliver so there is enormous support / respect for the function. This position will be a senior role and requires a person able to lead at strategic levels and give operational guidance where needed.

The suitable candidate will lead the HR function with a focus on;
- Developing local HR strategies in alignment with the organizational objectives,
- Workforce planning, resourcing and development,
- Utilization of HR resources in order to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
- Being a strategic leader, well networked and a key advisor to the business heads,
- Managing the Saudization and Feminization requirements effectively
- Driving employee engagement and retention programs
- Implementing performance management, compensation and reward programs locally
- Providing proactive and trusted advice on employment legislation and related matters

In addition to a strong generalist HR background you will need to;
- Analyze information and develop meaningful strategies.
- Be assertive and persistent when required.
- Lead as well as execute multiple priorities.
- Deal with the good & bad, remaining calm under pressure.
- Be a strong communicator, ensuring transparency and openness with internal customers

Requirements

- BBA / MBA from a renowned institution.
- 10-15 years of HR generalist experience with a minimum 5 years in a senior leadership position
- A demonstrated track record of driving change & working under pressure
- Retail experience highly desirable
- Able and effective communicator across all levels
- Fluent in English and Arabic - verbal and written
