Job description / Role
- Provides Satcom specialist support.
- Configures Deployable Satcom Terminals for specific operational requirements.
- Provide field service specialist support.
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves Satcom problems.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Two years technical training at an accredited school (4 years of related experience can be substituted for 2 years of technical training) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years configuring and operating Manual and Autotrack VSAT systems.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Good understanding of Wide Area Networks - telecommunications.
- Must be experienced in the engineering of satcom networks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Must be able to work additional hours in order to complete working priorities on an occasional basis.
