IT Problem Specialist

Job description / Role

IT Problem – Banking – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Salary / Package TBC - ITIL

Our client who are a significant member of the Middle Eastern banking community have asked us to assist in the hire of an IT Problem Specialist.

Job Purpose:

? Reviews the problems reported in the Remedy system and proceeds to their categorization, so as to support the identification of trends
? Analyses the problems identified and cooperates with all relevant departments for the identification of problems nature and development of root cause analysis
? Searches for global best practices for the resolution of problems identified and in cooperation with the required departments, proposes solutions that will eliminate or minimise the malfunction without affecting the business operations
? Develops analytical reports to management regarding the issues identified and the resolutions proposed / implemented, so as to provide a thorough picture of the departments efficiency
? Follows up on the solutions proposed so as to identify their process of development and implementation
? Assesses the effectiveness of the implemented solutions to ensure that the problems are closed as per the department SLAs
? Updates the data base of the department with the issues identified and solutions implemented so as to assist in the effective management of similar future problem

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Services or in IT.
Minimum Experience:
? 6-8 years of relevant experience in IT Banking applications including Seibel, knowledge of Systematics and other banking applications in Operations environment.
Language:
English: Excellent, Arabic: preferred.

? Very good knowledge of operations processing in area of responsibility
? Good knowledge of Banking operations, products and services
? Very good knowledge of the IT systems and applications used in the Bank
? Knowledge of SDLC

Working experience and knowledge of BMC Remedy Problem management
