Procurement Manager (MEP) - Saudi

Our busy Saudi based client has retained our services to recruit an experienced MEP Procurement Manager for their operations in Riyadh. Suitable applicants will hold the following responsibilities: -

- Managing all procurement activities and leading a team of officers
- Identify and implement strategies in order develop procurement plans
- Employ and identify methods to minimise cost and time
- Negotiate sales and communicate professionally with key stake holders and higher level management
- Produce and present weekly on department productivity
- Monitor the implementation of SAP, Integral for the procurement department on related projects
- Ensure timely and professional contract support
- Direct and manage personnel engaged buying as well as handling materials, equipment and supplies
- Maintain company reputation & credibility by fair dealings and prompt payment
- Coordinate with QAQC department on vendor issues of non-conformance resolution, corrective action and preventative action
- Establish and maintain KPA's and KPI's for aspects of procurement
- Coordinate procurement of long lead items for each project and resolve problems with vendors to expedite deliveries

Requirements

- Candidates will have MEP Sector experience.
- Will be suitably qualified.
- Will have 10 years minimum experience, preferably from within the Middle East
- Preference will be give to Western Passport holders, though all application will be accepted.
