Subject Teacher (ELA, Physics, Math, Sci, Social Studies)

Teacher required for Prestigious International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are currently seeking to appoint a number of positions to a prestigious and both well-established and highly popular international school in Riyadh. The K-12 school offers both local Ministry and American Diploma curriculum streams and has both boys and girls sections. It has recently achieved the AdvancedEd accreditation for the second time across both international and national streams. The school has been part of the prestigious Mawhiba Schools initiative attracting particularly gifted and creative students. There is a strong focus on professional development and training for staff.

Posts currently being recruited include:
- Female ELA teachers (primary/secondary)
- Male ELA teachers (primary/intermediate)
- Female social studies teacher (secondary)
- Female physics teacher (intermediate/secondary)
- Male Science teacher (intermediate)
- Male Math teacher (intermediate)

Salary : Packages start $2,150 -4,500 USD per month plus benefits.

Duration: One year contract in the first instance and renewable

Primary Role:
- To teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by TISCHOOLS Curriculum Framework, working in either the National curriculum or American Diploma programmes.
- To teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Head of School or Head of Department.

Duties will include:
Planning and teaching high quality lessons that both challenge and support high achievement across all students, and which use a range of modern pedagogies. The school has a strong on-line link between students and their teachers for coaching, support and homework. Classera is a core on-line portal and teachers will be expected to engage with the portal and their teaching groups to establish strong rapport and learning opportunities outside of lessons. All teachers are included in the school decision-making process and have access to guidance and professional development. All teachers will play a full part of the life of the school.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in the teaching subject (eg: Math teacher ,Bachelors in Mathematics)
- At least 2 years teaching experience
- Teaching certificate.
- Native English speaker or Fluent English speaker
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Desirable:
- Master’s degree
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management and planning.
- Proven ability to work well in a team.
