Accountant for Professional Services Companies - Riyadh Office

This role entails proactively processing accounts payable and administrative support work – helping in the day to day running of the accounts department. It involves significant contact with all levels of staff on day to day matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Saudi Arabia journal entries
- In charge of timely journal entries posting to the financial system and filling of all related documents
- Responsible of the petty cash daily transactions
- Review Saudi Arabia expenses / prepayment schedules and prepares the related accounting entries
- Validate the staff mobile invoices received from the supplier against the inventory sheet and prepares the related entries
- Point of contact with Saudi suppliers, reviews invoices for accuracy before posting to the accounting system
- Coordinate with the payroll team to process the monthly cash salaries
- Point of contact with the Saudi bank, responsible of cash deposits and withdrawals, check transactions along with bank guarantees
- Follow up on client invoices' collection with clients in Saudi Arabia
- Ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting standards and principles
- Communicates with colleagues, direct managers, cross- functional counterparts, internal clients and others in a courteous and professional manner
- Conforms with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
- Currently based in KSA and working for a multinational company
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- 4 to 6 years of work experience as Accountant (preferably with a multinational firm)
- Financial Management/ technical capacity: High level of analytical and quantitative ability required to perform accounting functions, including proficiency with computer-based modelling and analytical techniques
- Thoroughness: organized, eye for detail, time management skills and proactivity needed
- Communication proficiency: strong verbal and written communication skills required to effectively work with professional resources in accounting areas
