Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* To receive ship structure / vessel profile, stack weight, reefer slots and hatch covers etc. from shipping line and update in TOS.
* Review all relevant data and information such as the BAPLIE, MOVINS and revert respective vessel agent in case of discrepancy.
* Create a plan (welcome package) after applied cut-off time for the assigned vessel/s and ensure that the same has been shared with the respective vessel agents, chief officers at least 4 hours before ETB and ensure strict adherence to it.
* Compare the figures of Zodiac-OPS and N4 and ensure that the figures are matching. (keep a copy of same in share folder for future reference.)
* To maximize optimization opportunities in the crane plan for Twin lift, Tandem lift, Dual Cycling etc.
* Identify all the information such as OOGs, Reefers, Break Bulk, IMDG, Connection boxes, Direct deliveries, Re-stows, etc. in a particular vessel is captured and made necessary preparations if required.
* Analyse the crane program and check an opportunity to reduce heavy hook by suggesting the changes to respective Central Planner.
* Notifies respective vessel agent if any of the vessel is not matching with window agreement.
* Ensure to save all communications, information pertaining to a particular vessel in the share folder to be accessed by other Planners and Supervision.
* Complies with the guidelines from direct manager and ensures implementation.
* Optimizing Quay and yard operation to achieve set KPI.
* Responsible for safety & discipline in work area.
* Ensure compliance with Fatal Risk Standards.
* Ensure compliance with Safe Work Practices.
* Ensure compliance with HSE policy.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
* Experience in container terminal operations: 3-5 years
* Understanding of vessel characteristics/ dimensions, factors impacting vessel stability
* Work experience in container terminal operating system?
* Education: Diploma/ Graduate
* Excellent computer operating skills
