Advisor to Chief of Staff Semi Government Riyadh, KSA

- Review and develop an advisory opinion or recommendations on any strategic, financial or governance
- Capable of carrying out in depth reviews of board packs in compressed time frames to identify any critical areas or issues of concern (based on solid justifications), craft intelligent and logical opinions and advise accordingly.
- Fully understand regulatory requirements and their application and be able to identify and comment on any deviations, violations or non compliances.
- Capable of reviewing annual, quarterly and interim financial statements of companies as well as their compliance with current finance and accounting standards
- Be knowledgeable of the governance in public sector including the roles and responsibilities of the governing bodies.
- In addition to understanding the decision making process, flow of activities and segmentation of documents.
- Be knowledgeable of the protocol related to governments in terms of way of addressing, communication and hierarchy.
- In addition to understanding the leadership means of communications, meeting environment and seating arrangements, along with ensuring the protocol is well followed
- Able to review and advise on the merits/demerits of various governance, compliance and audit frameworks industry standard or indigenous.
- Capable of conducting independent and discreet review of any shared industry, public sector or private sector reports and crafting an opinion on it.
- Reviewing/developing Board/executive level communications and presentations.
- A goals/results oriented professional that is committed, willing to take ownership, work long hours (if so needed) with high personal standards for quality and work ethics.

Requirements

- Capable of working independently (without any support resources), extremely efficiently and meeting aggressive deadlines (ranging from hours to within a matter of days) for providing required advise/consultation

- Knowledge of multiple leading industries (e.g. energy, airlines, defence, tourism, entertainment health etc) would be a plus.
- Awareness of Vision 2030, the Vision Realisation Program and the Kingdom's overall economic goals/challenges would be desirable.
- University graduate in a financial/business/technical discipline.
- An agile team person who finds it rewarding to coach/mentor, support and play a role in enabling success of other members and the unit (of which he/she is a part) as a whole.
- Must have consulting experience with exposure to Financial Services.
- Must be Saudi National
