Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for support, administration and documentation of applications
- Liaise with users, client and third party for any support/maintenance requirement
- Provide customer focused support in the analysis, documentation and resolution of problems relating to the core supported systems.
- Manage and co-ordinate support effort including consultants, suppliers and internal customers.
- Provide resolution/responses to problems within agreed SLA performance targets.
- Proactively monitor data integrity to help ensure consistency of data between systems.
- Document change requests to meet identified business requirements.
- Where appropriate implement approved changes.
- Transfer data sets to and from internal and external sources.
- Develop and document reports using reporting tools and SQL.
- Update and maintain information on the call-logging software.
- Work with colleagues, with particular reference to continuously develop knowledge base information within the software.
- Maintain and update procedures and system documentation.
- Contribute to systems/applications projects of a reactive nature.
- Produce formalized project documentation in accordance with departmental standards for the following where appropriate:
- Enhancement and change requests for both suppliers and internal developers
- New or changed procedures
- Project and test plans
- Perform monitoring of all in-scope applications

Requirements

- Overall 2-3 years of experience in monitoring Infra/App support
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux operating system
- EAI & Comptel (Provisioning & Billing) would be advantageous
- Be ready to work on 24x7 rotational shifts
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- ITIL knowledge is must
- Arabic Speaking Preferred.
