Assistant Cost Controller

Job description / Role

Charterhouse are currently managing a search, for an investment group, whom are positioned within the food & beverage (F&B) and hospitality sectors. As part of their ongoing regional expansion, the client are looking to identify an Assistant Cost Controller, out-of their Riyadh-based operational hub.

This role shall take ownership of the cost analysis and controllership across their restaurants operations; to ensure both cost optimisation, detailed analysis and planning efficiencies within their production and retail functions. The role will also be heavily geared the control of inventory, supply chain and the assessment of wastage across their network of outlets and branded themes. In turn, this role will support the group finance function (based in Dubai) in the evaluation and assessment of cost per sales, unit variances and the subsequent pricing considerations across their product ranges and network of outlets.

Requirements

Our client will look to hire a junior professional, whom can demonstrate up to 3 years exposure, within the F&B and/or hospitality sector. The candidate shall need to understand the dynamics of cost controllership linking to food supplies, wastages incurred and the dynamics of bringing food ingredients and/or produce together, to meet the demands and menu requirements. These technical aspects will be required in conjunction with an ability to report and present findings whilst adding an advisory element to the role, linking to both industry and market insight. The candidate shall ideally be based in the Riyadh market presently; with a desire to progress their career in to a fast moving and rapidly expanding F&B business operator.
