Assistant Finance Manager - Riyadh

Morgan McKinley have partnered with a multi-national manufacturing business to assist in recruiting an experienced Assistant Finance Manager for their state of the art manufactuing facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The role reports to the Finance Manager and you will support the Finance Manager in overseeing all aspects of the accounting & controlling function which includes managing a team of accountants and controllers, reconciling receivables, financial reporting, cash management and leading the development and enhancement of accounting and financial processes.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure monthly closure of management accounts along with the supporting schedules
* Responsibility for Management Accounting
* Review all submitted budgets. Review spend on monthly/quarterly basis and feedback to CFO and budget holders on actual status, highlighting any variances against budget.
* Review Monthly payroll and make pay orders for the payments.
* Keep track of all revisions to IFRS, IAS, SCOPA and develop internal controls to ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
* Review existing processes in various departments and develop/suggest improvements.
* Liaise with banks for financing and relationship management.
* Assist CFO in developing financial systems to facilitate management decision-making
* Prepare regular production reports to improve the overall productivity and quality and overseeing production standards and controlling costs (product costing, inventory control)

Requirements

An experienced Assistant Finance Manager is required for the Riyadh site of a multi-national manufacturer. Fluency in English and Arabic along with exposure to SAP is essential. There is a strong opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager to join a tier one organistion with a strong career/earning graph.

* Commerce/Business Degree essential
* Professional ACA/ACCA/CPA or MBA beneficial
* Minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
* Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic required
* Knowledge of SAP essential
