Responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate estimation and cost planning advice and present to our clients
- Managing a team and provide continuous development
- Delivering assignments competently and professionally
- Managing resources, cost and time effectively to ensure margins are met
- Providing regular feedback to the director on the commissions under your management.
- Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
Requirements
Requirements:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is preferred
- Previous technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy
- Pre contract cost management (cost planning) experience is essential
- Middle East experience is preferred
- Good technical report writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external)
- Experience of a variety of sectors is beneficial, including hospitality, residential, retail, education, infrastructure, commercial and leisure projects in excess of $1 billion
- Experience of managing and leading pre-cost management teams within a live project environment
