Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a global law firm that is looking to hire a Banking and Islamic Finance Solicitor with 5 - 10 PQE + to play a key role in its established and growing Riyadh offering.
The role will involve covering the full mix of banking work, spanning the conventional and Islamic finance aspects of the full range of finance legal work i.e. corporate lending, acquisition, leverage, RE, project finance etc. The position will be to work closely with the Partners and clients, playing a lead role in relation to transactions in the Riyadh office. The KSA market is continuing to grow and becoming more important to the majority of law firms’ plans for the Middle East region, so this is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader with exceptional long-term career prospects.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be an experienced banking Lawyer, based either in the UAE with a leading law firm, or interested in relocating from the UK, Australia or New Zealand etc. The firm is interested in a high calibre individual who will be able and comfortable working independently and / or within a team structure. Experience of Islamic finance is ideal, although candidates interested in building on their experience in the area are also of interest.
