Bilingual Operational and Financial Auditor

Job description / Role

The purpose of the Operational and Financial Auditor within the Al Futtaim Group is to conduct internal audit activity of assigned business segment in order to examine and evaluate all business activities in respect of reliability and integrity of information, safeguarding of assets, economical and efficient use of resources, accomplishment of established objectives and compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations.

You will assist the audit manager in the development of annual audit plan by assessing the degree of risk, conduct internal audit assignment for evaluation of adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal control and quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities in all business processes/segments, review the approval process to ensure that Group policies/ procedures and delegations of authorities are complied, ensure that assets of the group are safe guarded.

High professional standards of audit performance should consistently be achieved with reports and recommendations in conformity with International Standards of Internal Audit and within the Group’s policy, procedures and long range goals.

Fraud investigation should be conducted in order to identify the loss/exposure, control weaknesses, personnel responsible and recommendation to prevent re-occurrence.

Requirements

To be eligable for this role candidates must be bilingual in Arabic and English along with holding either a CPA, ACA, CIA or ACMA certificate and have a minimum of 4 years' audit experience.

Strong analytical skills, a high degree of tact, self-reliance, technical and management skills along with an exceptional ability in oral and written communication are required. Familiarity with computerized financial and operating systems.
