Job description / Role

Responsibilities

* Analyze market trends, competition among each category, and price positioning
* Identify brands, products and vendors in accordance with market trends and market segment analysis at which the store product is aimed
* Develop the pricing strategy for all products
* Negotiate agreements with vendors (margins, payment terms, return rates, rebates and all other details of business needs)
* Analyze department's P&L statement and execute strategies to increase profitability across the department

Experience

* 8+ years of experience in category management
* Experience handling product content on the e-commerce platform
* Proven retail experience
* Clear understanding of brands and the marketing mix
