Business Analyst

Job description / Role

We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst who interact regularly with senior leaders and act as subject matter expert in the banking Compliance business area.

Duties will include:
- Gathering and documenting the business requirements for the data warehouse and data
- management projects
- Produce business case and ensure that data warehouse and data management deliverables are matching the business objectives and outcome
- Conduct source systems analysis, and producing gap analysis assessments
- Provide logical data modeling, and logical to physical mapping
- Ensuring traceability between business requirements and functional specifications of the data management solutions
- Driving the testing phase with all stakeholders (test strategy document, test cases, test plan, etc.) and execute the test cases
- Address compliance requirements gaps
- Facilitating the transition to Business As Usual (“BAU”) processes

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, logistics, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant banking experience as a Business Analyst working on data warehouse, data quality, meta-data management and data management projects delivery.
- At least 4 years¡¦ experience in Business Intelligent (BI) with strong background in reporting. SAS base and SAS EG is mandatory.
- Experience in data modeling and Erwin tool
- Experience in compliance risk, security and fraud risk, Anti-Money-Laundry (AML)
- Strong understanding and practice of SQL, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, creating macros)
- Teradata data warehouse experience is a plus
