Employment: Full Time

Business Development Manager with ingredients experience, within the dairy industry, needed for a fantastic brand in Saudi.

This business is an entrepreneurial food company within the ingredients and dairy sector, operating from Saudi across the GCC and wider region. Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to maintain existing customer relationships and build new customer relationships in Saudi Arabia.

The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the growth of the business through developing and maintaining sales of dairy ingredients across both new and existing Key Accounts.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be based in Saudi or have significant experience within the food manufacturing sector in the Kingdom. It is essential that candidates have a good understanding of a dairy ingredients business and key contacts in this industry to utilise your knowledge in this new role.

A solid food science background would be an advantageous.

Candidates should have strong sales planning, forecasting, strategic planning and experience managing costing models.

Skill Set:
- Significant commercial experience in a business development and account management role in the Ingredients sector in KSA
- Fluent Arabic speaker with business-level English language skills
- A clear and effective communicator with internal and external contacts from blue collar workers to board level
- BA level qualification, or equivalent, ideally a Masters or MBA from an internationally respected institution
- Experience of the Dairy Industry an advantage
- Currently based in KSA or if elsewhere, have significant experience within the Kingdom
- Experience of successfully generating sales growth in a trading environment
- Track record of delivering profitable new business – this will be tested at interview stage
- Potential capability to take on future management of key manufacturing partners and Business Development Executive
