Our Clients’ regional office is recognized as a dynamic, fast growing Emerging Market; comprising twenty four countries and headquarters in Dubai. They are part of a multinational company; an engineering technology and solutions company, working within water and wastewater. They are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager in Saudi Arabia for the Oil & Gas industry.

As a Business Development Manager you would promote and maintain a high level of visibility for our client’s Oil & Gas solutions, services and brands in the KSA market. You would be networking with key influencers and decision-makers within the O&G industry including engineering projects. As a BD Manager you would maintain high level relationships with existing clients as well as developing new relationships with significant clients, consultants and EPC contractors.

This role would involve identifying opportunities and consulting to secure future tenders, all the while supporting the product area managers with the sales processes. The role would also include researching into the Saudi market and collaborating with senior stakeholders on the organization of conferences and customer presentations to clients or partners in KSA.

Requirements

- Manage existing client base and identify, evaluate, develop and profile new business opportunities and clients within the area of responsibility to promote company’s technology
- Develop relationships and strategic alliances with local and international companies with the objective to strengthen the company’s chances through early consultative selling activities, pre-qualifying and succeeding in winning new contracts.
- Develop and maintain data base of new tenders, opportunities and clients within area of responsibility, and ensure that the company is registered/pre-qualified.
- Produce market reports and develop country market presentations as required.
- Suggest and execute country specific market strategy
- Develop and build relationships with key personnel from existing and new clients, consultants and potential consortium EPC partners.
- Attend and participate in related meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
- Maintain commercial direction and targets set out in company’s growth plans by ensuring that targeted number of new opportunities is identified and that the budgeted order forecast for the assigned geographical area is achieved.
