Our Clients’ regional office is recognized as a dynamic, fast growing Emerging Market; comprising twenty four countries and headquarters in Dubai. They are part of a multinational company; an engineering technology and solutions company, responsible for developing, marketing and selling products, applications and solutions across the water, waste water industries; from Transport, Treatment, Dewatering, Aftermarket & Service and Building Water Solutions for MENA clients, consultants and contractors. Their mission is to drive sustainable and profitable growth in the served markets by executing a global strategy at a regional level for sales, marketing and support structures.

As part of the growth strategy, our clients’ Dubai office - Talent2 are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to lead the sales strategy in Saudi Arabia.

Reporting to the Treatment General Manager, you will be responsible for driving local business development in KSA; supporting sales of all water and wastewater treatment products, applications, solutions and services covered by the company’s brands and products portfolio.

As defined by the MENA Treatment Commercial Team Strategic Plan, served markets and applications are marketing and selling products, applications and solutions for the treatment of water and wastewater for public utility and industrial sites. The product portfolio includes serving the core applications of pumping, mixing, aeration / bio treatment, disinfection / oxidation, and filtration / clarification / separation and integrated/process solutions.

You will be responsible for promoting a multi-brand integrated process solution in particular with focus on early consultative selling activities. The primary core market targets are the public utility markets and various defined industrial applications; driving sustainable and profitable growth in the served markets by executing the strategy through adequate sales, marketing and support structures.

Your responsibilities are:
- Promote and maintain a high level of visibility for the Company’s treatment solutions, services and brands in Saudi markets;
- Maintain high level relationships with the Company’s existing clients and partners;
- Develop new relationships with key end users, consultants and EPC contractors;
- Identify opportunities, coordinate and conduct early stage consultative selling to influence requirements in future tenders;
- Support the Treatment Product Area Managers throughout the sales process with order funnel opportunities, leads identification and build-up;
- Identify, organize and lead country based consultant and client workshops and meetings;
- Provide ongoing high grade commercial intelligence to the MENA Treatment management team;
- Increase Company’s Treatment market share in Saudi markets;
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders on the organization of sales conferences, marketing communications exhibitions, road shows, customer presentations and seminars directed towards consultants, clients and partners in Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

- Degree in Civil, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent;
- Minimum of 10 years sales & marketing experience in either the water, wastewater, mining or industrial equipment markets with solid water and waste water treatment process engineering and selling aptitude, business acumen and knowledge of the treatment of water, waste water industries;
- Minimum of 5 years of good working knowledge and contact network covering key organizations and stakeholders to the water, waste water markets KSA
- Demonstrated excellent skills in communicating with stakeholders in an international company matrix sales / product organization and in networking with external stakeholders and clients
- Excellent communication and team-working skills with a supportive, transparent and cooperative mind-set towards internal team coworkers in a matrix environment
- International business experience essential
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Proficiency in Arabic is a must
