Employment: Full Time

A multinational company is looking to a recruit a Buyer for its branch in KSA.

Duties and Responsibilities are:
- Verifies purchase requisitions, clarifying unclear items with requestor.
- Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price of supplier quotations.
- Distributes and monitors purchase orders, obtains order confirmations and shipping documents from suppliers.
- Determines most economical and efficient shipping method.
- Coordinates with company appointed custom brokers for clearance of import shipments.
- Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers/forwarders.
- Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
- Filing of purchase orders and supporting documents.
- Prepare biweekly project wise report on ordering and delivery status and send it PM to plan/update their project schedule.
- Evaluate vendor performance.
- Solid knowledge of Saudi import procedures.
- Develop and foster business relationships with suppliers.

Requirements

- Minimum two years experience with purchasing or related field.
- Associate degree.
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Experience in Saudi market.
- Good negotiation skills
