CFO, Retail, Saudi Arabia

Salary - £100,000 - £120,000per year + bonus & benefits / SAR 600,000 – SAR 720,000 per year

Market leading, expanding retail company seeks a high calibre CFO to be based at its head office in Saudi Arabia.

One of our key clients, a leading company active within the retail sector, is currently recruiting a CFO with strong management experience to provide financial leadership to the business and its senior team. As the Chief Financial Officer you will be based at the head office in Riyadh and be a key factor in the growth and the expansion of the business.

This role will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to play a significant, strategic role in the future development of the business. So, if you are excited about being able to personally drive a business forward and feel the recognition first-hand, then this is the role for you. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for all aspects of the financial area and take control of the business strategy, as such you will be experienced enough to handle business critical decisions.

Specifics of the position include:
- Providing strategic support to senior management
- Acting as a Business Partner to the CEO in the business strategy
- Identifying new investment possibilities
- Accountability for the entire financial function
- Responsibility for managing a team of 20 staff
- Reporting directly to the CEO

Requirements

- Significant experience within either FMCG or Retail industries, at either a Financial Director or CFO level
- Must be a Chartered Accountant of India
- Must have naturally strong business acumen
- Must have GCC experience - ideally in Saudi Arabia, although this is not essential
- Experience of working at a senior level where you have managed a large senior team
- Experience in implementing new procedures and policies including; key performance metrics
