Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports & annual budget execution reports.
- Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting etc.
- Approve journal vouchers and batches for entry of financial transactions into the General Ledger.
- Supervise and approve the matching of invoices, purchase orders and receiving reports and investigate reasons for mismatches.
- Oversee the Update foreign supplier invoice reference and prepare bank letters for payment.
- Ensure defining and maintaining a complete, accurate, up to date customer records.
- Handling all bank transactions including transfers, deposits, financing/facilities/LC/LG etc.
- Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Shouldered responsibility of ensuring that Cashiering, Payroll and Accounts Payable functions are always covered and that the work they perform is properly supervised.
- Review and manage monthly Intercompany, affiliates, suppliers & customers account reconciliations
- Cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing - Supervision the day-to-day operation of the accounting.
- Organize Inventory control between all warehouses.
- Prepare and review payroll sheets payment before obtaining final review and approval from the Finance Manager to process employee salaries. Ensure correct deductions, reimbursements for employees as required.
- Ensure implementation of policies and procedures related to all functions and operations.
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
- Keep track of all revisions to IFRS, IAS and ensure compliance in areas of relevance/impact to company accounting practice.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Degree in Accounting/Finance (English Section from Well-known University)
- From 10 to 15 years of experience including min 3 years as Chief Accountant in Trading Companies is a must. ERP experience is a plus.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all employees.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Good on Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

Candidate must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
