Chief Finance Officer - Jubail, KSA

Our client is a large O&G business based in Jubail, KSA. They are currently looking for a seasoned CFO to assume responsibility for the Finance and IT department of up to 40 staff, to lead and direct them effectively and maximize the return to the company and its shareholders.

Strategy:
- Ensure that Finance and IT department short mid and long term strategies are designed and then implemented across the company and new ventures.
- Return on equity
- Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Design, develop and implement policies, processes and systems/procedures in order to ensure the efficient and effective and legal compatible operations of the Finance and IT department

Compliance with procedural and legislative requirements:
- Effective communication of policies and procedures
- Day-to-day Management
- Manage and lead the teams of the finance and IT department
- Day-to-day operations are consistent with established policies, standards and procedures

Principal Accountabilities:
- Lead the design of the optimum capital structure and financial strategy for the Company, keeping in mind both current-business capital expansion, investment in new businesses / outside acquisitions, asset divestment, and short-term cash optimization.
- Provide the necessary input and advice to the CEO and the Board in terms of overall financing strategy.
- Assist in developing the short term and long term business plan and yearly budget.

Requirements

- Ideally Arabic language skills
- Must be happy to live and work in KSA
- Qualified Accountant
- 15+ years experience in finance, including a leading role
- Experience working for a large business
